Don't ya just hate it when sites you're doing something of relative importance on suddenly go into "maintenance" mode! I'm convinced the owners know when i'm halfway through what i'm doing and decide to inflict a 10 minute moment of annoyance in my life. Darn you website owners!

What a typical mundane and uninteresting Wednesday this has been so far. Instead of motivating myself to do something useful with my day and move in general I spent the majority indulging in the 2nd series of The Tudors.

While i've seen it already, the shrewd, passionate and downright authentic portrayal of the historical figures is engaging time and time again.
I particularly love Natalie Dormer as Anne Boleyn who is easily one of the most interesting female figures in British history. Similarly, the depiction of Henry VIII as a more attractive version than the usual representations we are used to is extremely effective, making for easy viewing. As a result i'm not sure I could ever go back to watching the (arguably more realistic) fat with ginger beard version again.
...It's a wonder with such characteristics in real life that he was able to get quite as many admirers, but that's the benefit of power and wealth I suppose.

On another note, I read in the news about a giraffe (from wild at heart) getting killed by lightening, while ultimately a sad story I can't help but think that it's unfortunate they're built like walking lightening rods.

God you just know it's going to be a fantastic day when ebay parcels arrive in abundance.

However why is it that I can't look anywhere online without seeing stuff about Katie Waissel from the x-factor? While I do think that Cheryls uncast vote (to either take the decision to deadlock or to boot out a contestant) was highly unfair I have to say that i'm 100% behind Katie, unlike 99% of the public. It is a bit of a pain though that her elimination songs are always way better than the actual ones.

Right this is random but anyway. I was just looking at a website that had photos of Madame Tussauds wax figures and I then I found the Hitler figurine. This got me thinking what kind of poses people actually do with this particular replica and these are some of the ones I found...

What I wouldn't do to give Hitler the good ole "bunnyears"...

Ok so I guess this is my first entry in this particular blog, woohoo. (I'm determined to stick to this one though I doubt i'll be able to update every day.)

I figured i'd start by introducing myself briefly.
I've just finished with school this year and currently embarking on the whole "being able to support myself" area in life (lets just ignore the fact I keep putting off getting a job until after christmas). I'm happily not in a relationship at this moment in time and as it's freshly on my mind now I can't believe it's only 46 days to christmas, eep.

Today i'm embarking on a new experiment which involves lemons... lots of lemons.
I've been researching the claims that lemon juice is great for the skin and body in general.

So earlier on I made a point of calling into my local supermarket and bought some. I intend to both drink the lemon juice (mixed with water) and also apply it to my face each morning/night for the next week at least to see if it's beneficial to me in any way.
After the first application I did (a couple of hours before posting this) I have to say i'm already pleasantly surprised, with scars from previous pimples being visably reduced. Plus my skin feels silky smooth. I'm excited to see how things will turn out after 6 more days.
